Day 6 of Gratitude
I'm grateful for my husband and my daughter. I may not let him know how much appreciate him and Emily but they are always there for me, even when my friends aren't. I know that I can go to him for anything, even if it is a shoulder to cry on. I'm grateful for Emily because she always can tell when I'm in a bad mood or my feelings have been hurt. She'll simply give me a hug and tell me that she loves me.
Day 5 of Gratitude
I'm grateful for my mom's husband. He loves my mom so much and only wants the best for her. Imagine my surprise when my mom and her husband said that they are wanting to move to the lake to be closer to us!! I can't wait for that day to come!
Day 4 of Gratitude
Today I'm thankful for having good health. My mom's mother passed away at the age of 61 from a heart attack. My mom will be 60 this June so I'm feeling a little nervous that the same thing will happen to her. I'm thankful that I have good health and even though I'm not in good shape and could run a marathon, I still take care of myself.
I'm also grateful for Emily. I know that I've done something right in raising her when she bursts out in song in the middle of Target "dis is da day, dis is da day da the Lord has made, I rejoice, I rejoice and be glad". She took me and my mom by surprise and I guess a few customers as well since they stopped and listened to her and then clapped when she was done.

Day 3 of Gratitude
Today I'm thankful that I still have my mom around to be with me. Many miles seperate us but I'm glad that I have the opportunity to go and spend time with her. There was a time that I didn't love my mom like I should because of some things that happened. Now I can look past the bad times and concentrate on the good times.
Day 2 of Gratitude
I know I'm behind. Emily and I left on Tues for my mom's so I didn't get to blog while we were gone. I'll play catch up right now.
Today I was grateful that I got to spend 3 1/2 hours in the van with my sweet daughter on the way to my mom's. I know one day Emily will not want to spend as much time with me as she does now.

30 days of gratitude
Okay, a friend of mine is doing this on her blog and I thought that I would do it here to. If nothing more than to get me in the habit of blogging more often seeing as I'm failing at it right now!
I am grateful for my husband and daughter. My husband loves me no matter what shape or size I am and my daughter loves spending time with me. When my day gets rough and I feel like the world is against me my daughter can sense it and will come running to me and give me a hug and sometimes a kiss!
I am so grateful for my family!
