Shhhhh....Can you keep a secret???

No, I'm not pregnant! :-)

I have booked us another trip to Disney World for November!!! Mike and I talked about it and decided to go again since Emily is still small enough to think that it is really the Princesses and Minnie, Mickey and the other characters. It has been 9 months since we have been and she is STILL talking about the trip from last year. She is still telling us the things she did, what she ate and even remembers the room number! She's been telling us that she needs to go back to show the Princesses her new haircut and give them a hug because they miss her. I can't wait to go back and see the expression on her face! Here are a few pictures from our trip last year. I need to get running, I've been scrapbooking our pictures from last year today and I'm getting more and more excited about going!

This is my favorite picture from our trip I think. She and Cinderella were talking about Gus and Emily was showing Cinderella how small Gus is.

Emily loved riding the Tea Cups. She rode it so many times and liked it to go "Super Fast" that it about made me sick! She and Mike rode it several times without me.

She was really big into Little Einstein's and JoJo when we went. We had lunch at Hollywood and Vine one day. She was so tired but she did really good. She was happy to meet Goliath.

It's been a while! Catch up time...

I didn't realize it had been so long since I had posted. Everything got really busy around here at the end of July. We've been busy with playdates, going to the lake, semi-vacation to Atlanta (Emily and I played while Mike worked), birthday's in Auburn and lots of other things in between.

Like I said earlier, Emily and I went with Mike to Atlanta the end of July. We had a good time but I learned very quickly that I do not want to live in Atlanta. On Saturday we got up early and headed to Stone Mountain, GA and spent the day there and watched the laser light show that night. We were disappointed in the laser light show because it was foggy since it had rained late that afternoon and you couldn't make out the images on the side of the mountain because of the fog. Emily still had a good time. We got caught in the rain late that afternoon but at least it cooled us off. Emily loved it at Stone Mountain. Emily loved the ride in the sky bucket to the top of the mountain. We spent about 30-45 minutes up there. The only reason why we left was because the clouds were getting really black and I didn't care to be up there in a storm. We went through the gift shop after we got back down on solid ground. Emily has a facination with bunnies and of course, she found one in the gift shop that she wanted and I told her no. She cried (always works) and I looked for a price tag and couldn't find one. I asked the girl at the register how much it was and she couldn't find another one like it in the store so she sold it to us for $3. It started out at $7 but Emily kept loving on it and telling it she loved it and named it all there at the register, wonder if that's the reason he got sold for so little. So, we now have Mr. Mountain Bunny to add to our collection of bunnies. He is sitting in Emily's lap in the picture below.

After we finished at the top of the mountain we set out on our next adventure. Thankfully I thought about taking her stroller with us because I don't think she would have survived all of the walking that we did. Some person, and it wasn't Emily or I, thought that it wouldn't be too far of a walk to walk from the sky buckets to the marina. When we started going down the hill out of the parking lot and I saw the street I told "him" that he could walk but I wasn't. Little did we know they actually have a shuttle service to the marina from where we were. Would have been nice if it had been mentioned in the brochures. So, we waited for the shuttle. As we were waiting "he" kept looking at the map and said, "it doesn't look that far from here". I said, "And yes, the direction you were showing me was through the woods! You CAN'T go through the woods". After we arrived at the marina "he" finally admitted that it would have been a long walk. We took a ride on the river boat. Emily refused to get out of her stroller while we were on the boat and she was not happy at all about having to wear "somebody else life jacket, I want mine".

After the river boat ride we had to make a mad dash all the way back over to the entrance area for a ride on the Duck's. It was sooooo much fun!! Our driver was so funny. She let us know really quick that if it started to sink, she was out the front window and everyone else was responsible for getting life jackets for each other. Of course, I've done nothing but hear those duck lips since we got back.

On Sunday we went on to Atlanta and took a tour of the World of Coke. Emily wasn't as thrilled with that but Mike and I enjoyed it. While we were waiting our turn to go in, Emily had to make an important phone call. She "had" to call the Princesses at Disney World to tell them "I'm in AT-land-ta and when I'm done I'm coming to Disney World to see you, I miss you!" She's been insistant since we left Disney in November that she's going back. There is Mr. Mountain Bunny helping her place the phone call.

So, it's been a busy summer between helping friends out with their children, go places, going to birthday parties, etc. I did manage to get the church scrapbooks semi caught up last week. We held our Celebration Jubilee last Sunday for our new building. From Wednesday evening until 1am Sunday I completed 3 scrapbooks, 136 pages. Needless to say this week I'm taking a break for myself.

I booked us a trip to Disney this morning for this November. I haven't told Emily that we are going in case something happens and we can't go. Right now it is still in question due to some work obligations for Mike. But, I went ahead and booked so I could take advantage of the discount that came out today. I saved $285!!

Well, I hear fussing downstairs about brushing teeth so I better go step in.
